On April 22, 2022, a shooting incident occurred near the intersection of I-17 and Cactus Road in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Nissa Thomas. During the incident, Thomas and a 31-year-old male were shot and subsequently transported to a local hospital.
