On August 25, 2022, Angela Fox-Heath, a 28-year-old apartment manager, was fatally shot at the Lind Commons Apartments in Tucson, Arizona. The incident occurred when Fox-Heath, along with Pima County Constable Deborah Martinez-Garibay, was attempting to serve an eviction notice to Gavin Lee Stansell, a tenant at the apartment complex. Stansell, who had a history of making threats and disturbing the peace, opened fire on both Fox-Heath and Martinez-Garibay.
