In the early hours of a Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona, a young man's life was cut tragically short in a violent confrontation. Manuel 'Manny' Montoya Hinojos, a 26-year-old Hispanic male, died on March 14, 2023, after he was shot while confronting burglars at his residence near 29th Avenue and Moreland Street.
