In the early hours of a Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona, a young man's life was cut tragically short in a violent confrontation. Manuel 'Manny' Montoya Hinojos, a 26-year-old Hispanic male, died on March 14, 2023, after he was shot while confronting burglars at his residence near 29th Avenue and Moreland Street. The incident began when Hinojos discovered three teenage males in the act of burglarizing his home.
