A 44-year-old woman, Jessica Proctor, was fatally shot on Friday, April 7, 2023, in an incident that authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide. The shooting occurred in Ash Fork, Arizona, at the Family Dollar store where Jessica was the manager. There were multiple witnesses to the event.
Yavapai County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene that morning.
