In the quiet retirement community of Sun City West, Arizona, the life of 90-year-old Genevieve Artikuski came to a tragic end on October 3, 2019. Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office were called to the Sun West Choice Healthcare & Rehab facility near Meeker Boulevard and Camino del Sol around 7 a.m. in response to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered the bodies of Genevieve and her 89-year-old husband, Mickie Artikuski.
