Jesus De Jesus Gonzalez, a 19-year-old Hispanic / Latino male, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of June 25, 2023, at an apartment complex in the 100 block of West Valencia Road on Tucson’s south/southwest side. Police were called around 12:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting, and arriving officers found Gonzalez suffering from gunshot wounds; despite officers and medical personnel providing aid at the scene, he was pronounced dead there.
