On June 27, 2016, Anchorage police responded to a traffic accident near Alaska Regional Hospital. The driver, Benjamin Wilkins, appeared impaired and was arrested for driving under the influence. During the investigation, officers discovered the body of 30-year-old Jacqueline Goodwin concealed under a sleeping bag in the vehicle.
