On a Sunday morning in Phoenix, Arizona, Alan David Whitworth, a 48-year-old man, was shot and killed. The incident occurred on September 1, 2024, at a construction site near 39th Street and Thomas Road where Whitworth and his 19-year-old colleague, Jamal Avery, were repairing a fence.
