On January 16, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Phoenix Police responded to an incident in the area of North 42nd Avenue and West Hubbell Street, where they found 20-year-old Angel Rafael Sandoval lying in the street. He was an apparent victim of a homicide, having suffered gunshot wounds.
