On a spring day in Lincoln, Nebraska, the life of 35-year-old Rasha M. Khaled was brought to a tragic and violent end. On May 2, 2019, inside her home, she was fatally shot multiple times by her husband, 48-year-old Adnan S. Almansouri. This devastating event unfolded as a murder-suicide, with Almansouri taking his own life after killing his wife. The couple's five children, ranging in age from 3 to 14, were present in the house at the time of the incident but were physically unharmed.
