Mildred Sue Allen Faris, a 75-year-old female, passed away at her home in Cadiz, Kentucky on Friday, July 2, 2021. Born in the Donaldson Creek community of Trigg County on October 25, 1945, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended Linton grade school and later graduated from Trigg County High School in 1964.
Throughout her life, she was a dedicated worker, having retired from both Lake Barkley State Resort Park and Elk Brand Manufacturing.
A woman of faith, she was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church. Her personal interests included reading, shopping, and gardening, with a particular fondness for planting flowers and watching them bloom. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Faris, who passed away in 2017, as well as her parents, John Taylor Allen and Mary Askew Allen, and three brothers. Online sources and records do not indicate any arrests or the identification of any suspects in relation to her death.
