In the early hours of July 5, 2020, the life of 41-year-old Obdoo Rakey Walker, a Black male, was cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. The initial discovery was made by police officers responding to a car crash in the Benson neighborhood. However, upon their arrival, it became tragically clear that this was no ordinary traffic accident. Walker was found inside the vehicle, not with injuries from the crash, but with gunshot wounds that would prove to be fatal.
