On a Sunday evening in the autumn of 2008, the life of James Murry, a 29-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short. On September 28th, in Omaha, Nebraska, Murry was found inside a residence at 3247 North 42nd Street with a gunshot wound. The initial call to police reported a shooting, and upon their arrival, they discovered the grim scene. He was rushed to Creighton University Medical Center, but his injury proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
