Gom Gout, a 23-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, tragically lost his life on May 7, 2023, in a shooting incident while he was working as a security guard. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning near 10th and Capitol streets in the Capitol District of downtown Omaha. Gout was employed at Moe and Curly's Pub where his role involved ensuring the safety of patrons.
