Quiaire Nesmith, 20, a Black male, was shot in Wilmington, Delaware, during the final week of June 2015 near the intersection of Sixth and North Broom Streets. He suffered wounds to the neck and back and was rushed to Christiana Hospital, where he died a short time later. The shooting unfolded just after midnight in a residential stretch off North Broom, and early reporting described him as a 20-year-old city resident who succumbed to his injuries after the attack.
