A 15-year-old African American female, Doris Ericka Dorsey, was fatally shot on June 17, 2018 in Belvedere, a community of Wilmington, Delaware. At the time, Doris had just finished Stanton Middle School and was at home celebrating her father's birthday. The family gathering included her father, Duncan Dorsey, and his friend, Vincent DiMenco, who was also present outside the home.
