On November 11, 2019, a 27-year-old Black or African American male named Andrew Burgos died from gunshot wounds in Wilmington, Delaware. The victim, a 27-year-old Black male, was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 1:20 a.m. in the 600 block of East 24th Street, a residential area of Wilmington. Despite prompt efforts by emergency responders, the 27-year‑old Black male Andrew Burgos was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.
