Dinexvi Soriano Gonzalez, 23, a Hispanic/Latino male, was shot on the night of February 5, 2025, at the Exxon gas station at 20 N. James Street in Newport, Delaware. Responding to reports of gunfire around 9:10 p.m., officers found him gravely wounded; he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries. Authorities later identified him as a resident of New Castle.
