Khalil Ameer-Bey, a 24-year-old Black male, was killed on July 29, 2020, in Wilmington, Delaware, in a shooting that began as an emergency call to police near 9th and Lombard Streets. Officers arrived and found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
