On July 29, 2020, Khalil Ameer-Bey, a 24-year-old Black male, was shot and killed in Wilmington, Delaware. The shooting occurred around 1:57 a.m. on the 900 block of North Lombard Street. Wilmington police arrived at the scene and discovered Khalil Ameer-Bey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
