Synai Smith, 18, a Black/African American male, was shot late on the afternoon of October 23, 2021, in Wilmington, Delaware. Officers were called to the 200 block of West 30th Street just before 5 p.m., where they found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly after.
