Deshawn Blackwell, a 36-year-old African American male from Seaford, Delaware, was tragically killed in a shooting that occurred early in the morning on March 29, 2023. The incident took place outside his residence at the Woodland Mills Apartments complex, located in the 900 block of Woodland Mills Drive. At approximately 12:20 a.m., Blackwell was sitting outside when an unknown individual or individuals approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
