On April 25, 2009, in Acton, Maine, 55-year-old Robert E. Morrill was fatally shot outside his home on Hopper Road. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., and his wife, Vickie Morrill, witnessed the shooting and reported it to authorities. Robert was transported to Goodall Hospital in Sanford, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
