On a tragic evening in Winslow, Maine, the life of 30-year-old Sarah K. Ladabour Gordon, a Caucasian female, was cut short in an act of domestic violence. On June 6, 2011, Sarah made a desperate call to 911, reporting that her husband was threatening to kill her. In the background, he could be heard telling her to hang up the phone. This call for help was the prelude to a fatal confrontation outside her home on Marie Street.
