On November 16, 2009, in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, 50-year-old Stacey E. Savoy was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Her husband, 55-year-old Bruce Savoy, fatally shot Stacey as she returned home from grocery shopping and then took his own life. The couple's bodies were discovered the following morning by a neighbor who had entered their Pleasant Street residence to care for their dogs.
