On May 31, 2014, in St. Francis, Maine, 31-year-old Amy Lynn Theriault was brutally murdered in her home by her ex-boyfriend, Jesse Marquis. Marquis stabbed Theriault multiple times before fatally shooting her with a rifle. Following the attack, he fled into the nearby woods, prompting a six-day manhunt that culminated in his arrest.
