On the morning of October 6, 2023, in Lisbon Falls, Maine, firefighters at the local fire station on Main Street heard a woman's scream around 7 a.m. Upon investigating, they witnessed 38-year-old Benjamin Peterson of Pittston exit a vehicle and shoot himself in the head with a handgun.
