A young Native American man's life was tragically cut short on October 2, 2013, in Billings, Montana. Michael Paul Manning Jr., a 20-year-old male of Caucasian, Mexican, and Native American ethnicity, was killed by gun violence at the Walmart on the west end of the city. His sudden death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him as a vibrant and humorous young man.
