In the early morning hours of April 6, 2019, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 24-year-old Shane Nez Perce, a Native American man from Billings, Montana. The fatal encounter unfolded outside of Lee's Saloon in Billings, where Nez Perce was shot and killed.
