Richard Ramirez, a 38-year-old resident of Billings, Montana, died on April 14, 2014, as a result of a police shooting. The incident occurred during a traffic stop when Billings Police Officer Grant Morrison pulled over a vehicle in which Ramirez was a passenger. The stated reason for the stop was a burned-out license plate light on the vehicle.
