Gary "Brett" Fallan, a 32-year-old Missoula resident, was found dead in his home on October 4, 2020. His death was initially investigated as a suspicious death, but later ruled a homicide.

Authorities arrested his wife, Angela Fallan, in connection with his death. She was subsequently charged with deliberate homicide. Court documents revealed that Angela Fallan had admitted to shooting her husband during an argument.
