In the winter of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Kane James Streitz, a White male, was cut tragically short in his hometown of Billings, Montana. On the night of January 23rd, Streitz was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred at an overlook on the Rims, a prominent geological feature in the area. Law enforcement officials were quick to deem the incident a homicide and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the young man's death.
