On a tragic evening in Billings, Montana, the life of 11-year-old William "Junior" Darling III, a White male, was cut short in a devastating act of violence. On October 19, 2022, Junior, along with his mother, 38-year-old Melissa Darling, was found deceased in their home on the South Side of the city. The cause of their deaths was determined to be gunshot wounds in what law enforcement officials have described as a double murder-suicide.
