On October 19, 2022, in Billings, Montana, a tragic incident occurred involving the Darling family. Authorities responded to reports of gunshots in the 4600 block of Murphy Avenue around 8:35 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of 39-year-old William "Billy" Darling Jr., his 38-year-old wife Melissa, and their 11-year-old son, William "Junior" Darling III. Investigations indicated that William Jr. fatally shot his wife and son before taking his own life.
