In the dense woods of Boundary County, Idaho, on August 21, 1992, the life of William Degan, a 42-year-old White / Caucasian male, was cut tragically short. A decorated Deputy U.S. Marshal, Degan was part of a six-man surveillance team tasked with scouting the remote mountain cabin of Randy Weaver, a man who had failed to appear in court on federal firearms charges.
