In the early morning hours of August 6, 2021, the life of Kye Stephenson, a 30-year-old Native American man, came to a tragic end in his driveway in Blackfoot, Idaho. His wife, Alishia, discovered him unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head and immediately called the police. Within an hour of their arrival, law enforcement officials had concluded their initial investigation, ruling his death a suicide. The scene was quickly cleared, and Kye's body was removed.
