On July 31, 2005, Robert Lee Smith Jr. was shot and killed in the 3500 block of B Street, SE, in Washington, D.C. The incident took place around 12:32 a.m., and the Metropolitan Police Department has since launched an investigation to find those responsible for his death. The case is being investigated by the Violent Crimes Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department, but as of today, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved.
