On May 22, 2022, 20-year-old Julie Isabel Martinez of Buhl, Idaho, was fatally shot in a residence on South Drifter Loop in Nampa. Responding to a 911 call at 7:09 a.m., Nampa Police officers discovered Martinez with a gunshot wound. She was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where she succumbed to her injuries.
