In the summer of 2015, a quiet retirement community in Nampa, Idaho, became the scene of a tragedy that ended the life of 68-year-old Karen Sue Baptie. On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, colleagues of Karen grew concerned when she failed to arrive for work and did not call in. This uncharacteristic absence prompted a coworker to request that police perform a welfare check at her home on West Cornwall Drive.
