On September 1, 2022, 24-year-old Joe Flores of Caldwell, Idaho, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a restaurant on North Cassia Street in Nampa. Flores, an innocent bystander, was caught in the crossfire during a gang-related dispute. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
