On March 14, 2015, 26-year-old Akrian Gene Evans was found shot to death in his home on the 4100 block of Garrity Boulevard in Nampa, Idaho. The incident occurred on the same day as his daughter's ninth birthday party. Evans, a father of two and a successful journeyman plumber, was also involved in buying, selling, and trading wooden pallets, which were stacked around his residence.
