A Christmas Day gathering in a West Boise home turned tragic, ending in the shooting death of 38-year-old David Pistole. On December 25, 2023, Boise police were called to a residence on the 8000 block of West Pomona Court following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Pistole with gunshot injuries.
