A Christmas Day gathering in a West Boise home turned tragic, ending in the shooting death of 38-year-old David Pistole. On December 25, 2023, Boise police were called to a residence on the 8000 block of West Pomona Court following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Pistole with gunshot injuries.

Emergency services transported Pistole to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Despite the efforts of the medical staff to save him, he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and ...
