On December 25, 2023, 38-year-old David Pistole of Garden City, Idaho, was fatally shot during a domestic dispute in Boise. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at a residence on West Pomona Court. First responders transported Pistole to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:59 p.m. The Ada County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the manner of death as homicide.
