On a Sunday evening in Boise, Idaho, a dispute over a traffic maneuver tragically escalated, ending the life of 38-year-old Hispanic male, Luis Rey Lara. The events of November 6, 2016, unfolded when Jacob D. Wall, then 21, cut off Lara on Five Mile Road. This led to a heated confrontation at a stoplight, where Lara exited his vehicle and approached Wall's pickup truck.
