Steven E. Hall, a 52-year-old resident of Bristol, New Hampshire, was found dead in his home on March 29, 2019. An autopsy determined that his death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that Steven was shot by his 24-year-old son, also named Steven Hall. The younger Hall claimed self-defense, stating that his father had approached him with a knife.
