In the early morning hours of December 14, 2008, the life of 24-year-old Anthony Bundi Parrish of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was cut short outside Club Passion in Providence, Rhode Island. As the club let out around 2:30 a.m., with approximately 600 patrons spilling into the street, a confrontation erupted between Parrish and another man, Dana Gallop. The two were known to associate with rival Boston gangs, and their long-standing animosity came to a head that night.
