In the early morning hours of July 27, 2024, a dispute between two coworkers tragically escalated, leaving 51-year-old Eric Campbell, a Black male, dead from a gunshot wound in Providence, Rhode Island. The incident unfolded around 1:00 a.m. in the parking lot of a Walmart on Silver Spring Street, where Campbell and his colleague had traveled from Alabama for a job to work on the store's floors.
