On June 13, 2016, 81-year-old John Cloud of Kingston, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in Pocasset Hill Cemetery in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Cloud had arranged to meet 80-year-old Edward Acquisto of Tiverton at the cemetery to discuss an unpaid loan. During their meeting, Acquisto shot Cloud among the gravestones.
