On the evening of September 21, 2021, a tragic shooting occurred at Sacred Heart Park in Central Falls, Rhode Island. At approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire near the park's basketball courts. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Malcolm Sostre lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
