In the city of Central Falls, Rhode Island, the evening of September 21, 2021, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 28-year-old Malcolm Sostre, a Black/African American male. The incident unfolded at Sacred Heart Park, where a basketball game was underway. Gunshots suddenly rang out, causing chaos and panic. When police arrived at the scene, they found Sostre with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
