On March 1, 2018, 24-year-old Vicky Sonevong was found dead in her Providence, Rhode Island, apartment, the victim of an apparent murder-suicide. Authorities identified her estranged boyfriend, 30-year-old Steve Soundara, as the perpetrator who fatally shot Vicky before taking his own life. The couple had two children together, a 6-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
