In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the life of David Camacho, a 32-year-old Black male from Providence, Rhode Island, was tragically cut short. On March 20, 2021, what began as a night out with friends ended in violence on Julian Street. Camacho was discovered lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in a private vehicle, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
