On the evening of June 9, 2023, a 21-year-old Hispanic/Latino male named Julian Garcia of North Providence, Rhode Island, was shot and killed in Pawtucket. The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. near the intersection of Barton and Montgomery streets.
