A Native American woman, Donna Marie Campos, age 37, was discovered dead on November 2, 2019, near Wasilla, Alaska. She was found alongside Michael Attwood, age 25, in an area off Knik Knack Mud Shack Road, both victims of fatal gunshot wounds. Authorities treated their deaths as homicides from the start.
